Elena Zhukova is a commercial photographer based in San Francisco. She was born and raised in Siberia but moved to US to get her undergrad in Chemistry. She worked for the biggest biotech company when she realized that her passion is in not in science but in arts. From that point, her life took a different turn:
Elena's imaginative, conceptual, and portraiture work centers around the desire to capture both the fantastic and the technological. Her unique background, comprising science and the visual arts, allows her to create both highly dramatic imagery and images that retain a sense of realism in portraying the lives of her subjects and their important work.
A highly recognized talent, she graduated with a Presidential Scholarship from the Academy of Art University's MFA Photography program, many awards and several high-profile commercial contracts already on her resume. In 2016, she received distinguished alumni award in recognition of her contributions and excellence in the field of photography.
